Collection: The Great Artist's collection

Lara Lavine is inspired not only by Ireland's Industrial heritage and landscape, she is also greatly inspired by the The Great Artists of the 20th century:Picasso, Joan Miro, Monet, Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Van Gogh, to name a few.

The European influences emanate through the colour combinations bringing the mundane industrial simplistic motifs to life through bold colour palettes. Lara's intense colour palette also plays with contrasting the monochromatic tones,  synonymous with the brand's identity: The classic black and white.

Lara Lavine, originally a fine artist/painter, constantly plays with the process of mark making, shape and symbols, inspired from her industrial heritage, by combining them in a unique way to create interesting and sometimes abstract surface prints, and art.

These are then developed and made into garments not only for the runway but for everyday life. The garments are ready-to-wear with a haute couture undertone. Finished often with hand-painted accents, and unique hand embellishments.

Lara Lavine provides the wearable art experience: from the runway to everyday life. Creating pieces of art that are extremely wearable, multi functional and flexible for the demands of the mundane everyday.
